So, I'm in a league where you can keep up to 12 guys, using a pick 3 rounds up from where they were taken last year (Free Agent keepers lined up from the end of the draft, so 29th Rd., 28th, etc.), except for one "franchise" player (Strasburg is mine) who stays in the same draft slot year after year.
As you can see from my roster below, my pitching is in pretty good shape. I am looking for a 3rd baseman (I'm something of a position scarcity guy), and I have two trades in the works:
WHICH OF THE FOLLOWING TWO TRADES SHOULD I MAKE?
1) My Dickey for his Chase Headley, whom I'd keep in the 10th round.
2) My Bauer, and a draft concession of a few rounds in the teens, for someone else Will Middlebrooks, who was a FA, and I could keep at the end of the draft (assume the 25th round for him).
Both Dickey and Bauer would be 15th round keepers for me. Which do you think I should take (assuming they are both available), and why?
Leave a link, and I will, of course, help you out.
Thanks,
Dave
