Who should I target to get some steals??

I play in a H2H, yahoo league. 6X6 cats, keep 6. The guys I'm keeping are:

Bryce Harper
Giancarlo Stanton
Eric Hosmer
Starlin Castro
Jurickson Profar
Manny Machado

I'm not sure who the other owners are keeping yet but I'm looking for a more sneaky way to get some steals. Obviously guys like Trout will be kept. Any thoughts? Cheers!

Bourn or Gordon may not be kept Hamilton if u want to take a stab ( obviously talking billy)

I'd love to help, but there's really not enough info to work with here. You can get steals projections off of most major sites, so beyond that I'm not sure what you want us to do in a vacuum here. Without knowing who's kept (or actually available) it's just too big a question.

Why are you keeping Profar?!? Who else do you have to keep there instead?
For steals look later like Gomez/Gardner/Eaton/Davis/Pierre etc types can be had later in the draft

No reason to keep Profar. He will be great in a couple yrs, don't waste the keeper now. Steals everyone knows about Gardner, Bourne, Trout. I like Coco Crisp again this yr. Others E. Cabrera, Pierre ( Miami will be shit and he will be aloud to run wild), Mastroianni (sneaky steals for Twins and he will lead off and run bc the Twins are horribly this yr)

I also like Rajai Davis when he's getting regular at-bats. Also, I don't think he's a sneaky pick, but I like Ben Revere too.

Last season I was second-to-last in a 14-team roto league in SBs in June, and through some "sneaky" pickups and trades, ended up second overall in the stat. When making trades, you can sometimes ask for a throw-in guy who has SB potential. If you're not going to go for one of the big SB guys or balance it out over your entire team, there are always going to be options down the line.

Bonifacio is going really late in a lot of drafts and should be good for 30+ Stl again this year, even playing a super utility role for the Jays. Bourjos isn't getting a lot of love either and could be useful there if he actually gets to play.

Man, this is the first time I've had doubts about keeping Profar. I assume that once he comes up he will have some growing pains but I fully expect him up by June at the latest and he's the number one prospect in the game. Plus he very well could have SS,2B eligibility for the next couple years in the yahoo format.

If you keep a player, you lose that spot plus one round in the draft. For instance, if you draft a player in round 3 and keep him next year, he is round 2 keeper next year and you lose your second round pick. If you keep two players from rounds 1 and 2 respectively, you lose both rounds as you can't go higher then 1. Same goes for a player who you drafted in (for example) round 12 and pick up a guy off of waivers who was drafted in round 12. If you keep both, you would lose rounds 10 and 11 in the draft. Another thing: If you pick up a player off of waivers that was drafted that year and you keep him the next year, you have to keep him at his drafted spot. If he is a free agent and was not drafted and you keep him, you lose your 23rd round pick (or 21, 22, if you keep 3 free agents next year from this years team).
