No they wouldn't be but they would need to win big over canada to win the tiebreaker.

I like the upsets but all of the good teams are getting upset. It kind of wrecks the credibility of something that most don't think has any credibility.

And nobody will care. Until we get our best guys out there, and caring about it, I don't care either.


Mauer, Braun, Stanton, Jones, Phillips and Wright is a pretty good mix of the best players the US has to offer. The only place that every team is weak at is starting pitcher. They have a very difficult time getting pitchers due to the importance of the spring training structure to them.

This USA roster is stacked. I totally understand about the pitching though.

there are some solid players out there but where is Posey, Pedroia, Kinsler, Longoria, Zimmerman, Fielder, Trout, Tulo, Kemp,Hamilton, Cutch, Stras, Cliff Lee, Hamels, Price Verlander, Kershaw, Kimbrel, Papelbon

Hell, I don't even know if all those guys are American born, but just going off the top of my head. !+)
