Two things jump out to me: a lack of power and an excess of pitching. I'm not high on CC this year and would love to see you send him away to get a 30+ HR hitter. Your staff should help you stay in a lot of match-ups. I don't hate Tulo at 8, especially with Reyes there if something happens to him. Harper's a nice grab in round two as he should be a keeper for years. You've got a decent amount of young players, especially early, and I think that translates into a solid start to a team for years to come. You're not gonna blow teams out of the water, but you'll definitely be competitive

I pretty much agree with this. The only thing is, I think Harper might have been a bit of a reach at #11. I think you might have still seen him at #26 (50-50, depending if there was another guy uber high on him) but I can see you reaching a bit if you really liked him as a long-term keeper.
I think four pitchers in rds 5-9 is a pretty strong commitment to pitching and agree that you might be able to get some hitting value for that if you can find a guy light in SPs.

I'm curious though, was this an ESPN draft?
A pretty good draft with room to grow.
Yep, Espn dynasty. And as for harper, I like him as a keeper and lots of guys in my league (myself included) are nats fans What kind of trade would you suggest in terms of SP's for hitters?
