I'm allowed two keepers in my head-to-head league. I am keeping Bryce Harper. For my second keeper slot, I am choosing between Aroldis Chapman (P), Paul Goldschmidt (1B), and Jason Kipnis (2B). Please help! Thanks! -jdowling 24, New York, NY
As a general rule I'd go hitting over pitching. So between Kipnis and Goldschmidt I'd go Kipnis. Better value at 2B and I'm guessing you'll have a shot at getting Goldschmidt back.
To be honest, not knowing your league specs I wouldn't be overly thrilled with either as a second keeper, but I think Kipnis offers you the upside of a potential top-5 2B, whereas Goldy is closer to top-10 status at 1B. I really like Goldschmidt and he might be a bit more projectable as someone mentioned, but in this context I'd go with Kipnis and hope he lives up to his potential ceiling.
