Anyone know when we might see this Bonds impersonator get a call up?

If you have a bench just stash him. He is a natural.

Watched some of the Indians Angels game today and just sort of confirmed some opinions I already had.

Stubbs and Reynolds both still look like terrible hitters.

Hanson's fast ball looked straight and hittable. He is going to have to rely on his offspeed stuff to set up the fastball, you couldn't pay me to roster him though. He also left the game with a sore triceps.

Hamilton still was hacking at stuff apparently at random like the 2nd half of last year. He really didn't seem into the game so it is hard to tell how much he is trying since the games don't matter.

Pujols isn't healthy, he could barely run.

Trumbo retooled his swing some and I liked what I saw.

Bauer still looks like garbage to me. If it wasn't for Kendrick swinging at a pitch in the dirt and grounding into a double play, Hamilton making a dumb baserunning mistake and a couple smoked line drives right at guys he would have been totally clobbered instead of just having a bad game. His control is as bad as I remember and very few pitches came close to hitting where the catcher was setting up, including at least 4 pitches that bounced in front of the plate a couple of which were supposed to be fastballs. Everything that was hit was hit hard off of him. Do yourself a favor and go after Shelby Miller instead.

Thanks for the report, Ender. Sad to hear about Pujols. Him and Hanley were my first two picks in the nOObs draft. :-C

He still hit what probably was a HR but was called a double and they didn't pinch run for him but he does look like the foot is really bothering him still.

I know it's been said already but Brandon Belt has continued to crush the ball. I remember reading awhile back about a correlation between having a spring SLG over .200 higher than career slugging and a power surge during the regular season. ISO might be better to look at as it removes some of the BABIP flukiness, but after two more HR, a double, and a single today Belt is now hitting:

.439/.467/.943 over 60 PA this spring.

Compared to his career .259/.344/.418 line thus far and that's over a .500 pt increase in slugging and a .345 pt increase in ISO. Obviously it's still spring and still a pretty small sample, but at the very least it's a good sign for his playing time. As long as he hits, Bochy will find a place for him to play, even if that means moving him to LF on days Buster gets a day off from catching and plays 1B.

Anyways just something to keep an eye on in deeper drafts as he's not even in the top 250 according to R&C's MDP.
