Is it me or has Wacha literally looked like Waino out there? How did this kid slide to the 19th pick for STL? He had like 40-5 in 20 some innings after he signed too... he is definitely a guy im monitoring.

The game is not yet final, but Wacha had another nice outing today. Pitched into some trouble and was chased out, but Marte got the last out to keep his ERA at 0.00 for the spring. 2.2 IP, 2 H, BB, 3 K, 0 ER.
On the other hand, Lynn (who started the game) looked pretty bad and got knocked around. 2.1 IP, 5 H, 0 K, 3 R (2 ER).

I'm about to spend my 6th pick in a 20 team dynasty 3 round draft on him.

He's only got 21 minor league innings, but 40 k's! against 8 hits and 4 walks. Damn.

With Rosenthal out of the running for the 5th starter spot in Stl, I'll be watching Kelly's start today, and Shelby Miller's tomorrow. How they pitch will likely determine who gets the spot.
Clash of the titans today with the Mariners (10-2) and Royals (11-0) facing off. Winner will likely be the odds on favorite to be Spring Training Champion.
