Hey guys! Sorry I had to pretty much use up my 12 hours on this 2nd pick. I was busy late Saturday afternoon and all night.

I was supposed to have had a few hours off in the early evening when I could have made it in to post my pick...but it didn't quite work out that way. I mean, hell, when you tell a band they're supposed to show up for sound check at 5pm, and they don't show up until 7:30??? Well, needless to say, we on the sound crew were NOT very happy campers this evening! I know that really doesn't mean much to most of you here...but I just had to vent.

Anywho, I know we're trying to move things along quickly here, especially since it's early on, and I just wanted everyone to know I wasn't trying to be flakey or anything like that.

Good luck to everyone the rest of the way...and wish me luck, cause Lord knows I'm gonna need it!

Thanks! I'm still needing some infielders and relief pitchers, but everyone at this point just feels like I'm reaching backwards too far...at least, for my limited knowledge that's how it feels. I'm strictly shooting from the hip here, so I figured I might as well pick up another offensive C, especially for the slugging %.

Now, if I can just make it through the next few rounds picking up what I need, I should be fine. At this point, I don't mind being "safe"...I just want to avoid the dreaded "I took the guy because he had great numbers...but didn't know he was out until August!"

Not really a rotoworld "guy", as in I don't belong to any of their particular forums or anything like that. But yeah, I hit them up quite often when I'm dealing with certain unknowns, like when I've got to look into NBA rookies for the upcoming season, or if there hasn't been any recent news with certain injured players or guys coming from overseas and such.

So yeah, I'll be hitting them up more and more as we get further along here.
