Kim could be awesome this year. I drafted him in the 22nd round in my draft and stuck him on my DL. He could be a GREAT risk: Good ERA, good WHIP, high Ks, and should get Ws with a good defense behind him. What more could you want from a sleeper?
I think owners will get good value out of him.
That crazy sidearm delivery is impressive when he's on.
I can see how it might be tough on the shoulder though But yeah, I think he makes an excellent 5th SP, on Boston and my team. I like Wakefield too, he seems like a good pitcher to stream.
If he starts and pitches well, he'll get some Wins with that lineup. Plus his K's and WHIP are great.
In long relief (the worst option) he's akin to a Mota, type guy. Still gives innings K's and WHIP but not tremendous value.
Last, let's not overlook the fact that Foulke had a very bad Spring. Francona was not impressed. Although there is a 90% chance Foulke will stick in the role, Kim is always there to be used as a closer as well.

I have him and I'm keeping him.
Yup. Kim will come around... see the sig.
And, Kim will start unless he tanks--and I don't think he will. They're paying him $5 million--and that ain't long relief money.
