iddle rounds are here...we have our 10 keepers , we all picked 4 more and now its a lot of guessing...need some help in the next 3 or 4 picks.... I am up in about 5 hrs to make my pick I have list of players still available...not all but tried to get best available without printing 1000 names I have 14 players so far...10 keepers plus 4 picks should i grab a catcher, SP, RP ? or a Sleeper at any position I missed
It might be too early to start looking at hold guys leaning toward the best available
i have gotten some great guys alreadfy...took a chance on Rondon...took Emilio, took holland and took a chance on Rollins as my 1st pick after the keepers
18 team H2H league 10 keepers...no limit time on keepers

i think you have to go with a Closer in this spot.....with De Aza a tempting plan-B.
Definitely don't take a catcher or a Starting Pitcher right now.
The top 6 Catchers available are all pretty much interchangable......I have Pierzinski, Avila, Salty, Ruiz, Doumit, and ianetta all in the same "tier". Wait to grab on of those guys in a couple rounds....not now.
Similarly, none of the top available SP's stand out as significantly better than the others. I have (Marcum, Lohse, Cahill, Hughes, McCarthy, Pettite and Jason Vargas are again all in the same "tier" for my rankings). SO I would wait to grab one of those guys in the next round.
In a league as deep as yours, saves are hard to come by and it looks like there are still some save available in your draft.
Cishek - likely the closer for the Marlins and probably the best available option. Broxton - would be my 2nd option (just keep your fingers crossed Chapman becomes a starter)
Marmol - scares me too much...I wouldn't take him now.....maybe in a few rounds Frieri - Has best stuff of this group....but not guaranteed a closer job....wouldn't take him here. Veras - likely houston's closer....but houston stinks and he is unproven Santos - Might or might not win job as Toronto's closer...too soon to pick him.
My guess is that your league is in the midst of a closer run that wont end until most, or all, of these guys are gone. Cishek and Broxton are clearly superior to the other names on this list, so I would take one of those guys if they fall to you. Cishek would be my 1st choice, but it's close.
An interesting Plan-B.....especially if Cishek and Broxton fall off the board before your pick....would be to take De Aza. I think he is far and away the best player on the board right now. And since there are no stand-outs in your areas of need (except possibly Cishek & Broxton), I would have no problem going the "best player available" route if I were in your position.
