Adrian Gonzalez

Adrian Gonzalez had offseason surgery before 2011 and his power numbers have declined since (although his BA has stayed steady). That leaves me a level of concern moving forward (maybe something Boston saw too), coupled with a not-so-friendly ballpark in LA. What are the chances of Gonzalez bouncing back in 2013 and getting back on a pace of hitting 30 HR again?

That's a tough one, given there's some many angles to take on A-Gon. I think expected an avg near .300 and a 200 combined Rs/RBIs (the Dodgers lineup should give a realistic chance of reaching those) and reaonably expect 20 HRs with ceiling of 25 HRs (we just don't know what's caused the power outage).

30 HRs may come, but I would absolutely not base a pick on it. Still, I like A-Gon as a reasonable late-third/fourth rounders that could end up a little more.

.301-89-28-114-2

He may struggle to hit 30 again, but he hasn't played less than 159 games since 2006 (when he played 156 in his first full season) and there is a lot of value in a guy that will likely stay in the line up the entire year and provide over 600 at bats worth of .300 average with 200+ runs+RBIs.

I have him ranked 15th overall and from what I'm seeing will probably own him in every league.

I have him at .290-93-24-108-1

I think your BA and power totals are on the optimistic side (although not far off from mine) but I do like his lineup spot and durability.

I agree. I would say low 20's for HR, but the other numbers look about right.
