Looking over the players available for my next pick in my keeper league. It seems like I will be going SP. I'm leaning toward either Minor or Ogando. What do you guys think about these guys? Who would you take in a FP keeper league with QS being 6 pts and wins 4. Available SP Dempster Minor Buchholz Romero Hellickson Garcia McCarthy Holland Ogando Rosenthal Stephenson Top Bats McCain Willingham RP Reed Adams Street League Roster C- C- 1B- Rizzo 2B- Altuve 3B- Miggy SS- Hanley OF- Heyward OF- Jennings OF- Eaton OF- Brown UT- Howard Bench/Minors- Rutledge, Sano, Bogaerts, Singleton, Correa, Gallo, Bell(PIT) SP- Cain SP- Sale SP- Anderson SP- Pineda SP- Bauer SP/RP- Feliz Bench/Minors- Walker, Fernandez, Wheeler, Martinez, Giolito No RP's on roster so far count saves and holds.

Seems you do not have any closers. I would take Reed unless you think he will be there next round? Also if you want to stick with grabbing a SP I would take Hellickson over any of them. He is young will likely keep his ERA below 3.50 although his k/9 last year was only 6.31 he is probably the safest bet to be in the rotation all year unless he gets hurt.

I think Ogando could be a nice pickup. There's some risk, but nice upside too.

I would look to Buchholz, Hellickson, Minor, Romero, Rosenthal in that order over the next few rounds.

Seems I'm always against the norm in these posts, but I really like Hellickson. He's not a blow you away type, but he gets quality starts and is a very effective pitcher. But between your two, I like Minor over Ogando.

I personally like what I saw from Minor in the 2nd half of last year and would make him my pick.
