Auction keeper opinions needed WHIR

Hey Everybody

I was wondering if you would be willing to off your opinion on some keepers for an auction league I am in.

I am in a 15 team 5x5 roto league. Each year we get $260 to draft our starting line up. It is the CBS format 2 catcher league. Then we do a 10 round snake draft for our bench. All players picked up in season and drafted for our bench are considered Supplemental players. Each year we get to keep 3 auction players and 3 supplemental players. We can only keep a guy for one year.

Here are my auction options, I can keep up to 3.

Brian Mccann $20
Sal Perez $1
Ike Davis $16
Ryan Zimmerman $26
Dustin Ackley $10
Evan Longoria $39
Ryan Braun $47 (he was highest bid on guy last year)
Yoenis Cespedes $9 (keeping him is a kind of a no-brainer)
Josh Hamilton $30
Hunter Pence $34
Neil Walker $14

Matt Cain $24
Cole Hamels $27
Yu Darvish $22
Clayton Kershaw $37
Alexi Ogando $3


Now here are my supplemental options. I can keep up to 3. They will just cost $1 to keep

Ok, ther is no way you aquired a team like that in a 15 team auction with a 260 budget...just for example you paid 80 bucks for braun and longo....thats just 2 players, look at the rest of your roster u have listed there, there is about 500 bucks in players there...I am not sure, I am confused as to how yoou have a team like that with those dollar values..... ....correction, 90 dollars for braun and longo...38 dollars for pense....wtf....so confused

Honestly, I would keep Josh Hamilton @ $30, and then Sal Perez @ $1 (especially since it's a 2 catcher league), and then Shelby Miller as a supplemental keeper. You can get an incredible amount of value out of Hamilton. He could potentially be valued at a mid $40 player. I expect huge things from both Sal Perez and Shelby Miller this year, let alone their miniscule price tag. Just my 2 cents.
