Pujols/CarGo/Cutch blockbuster WHIR

Postby Orko31 » Wed Feb 20, 2013 8:06 pm

HIS ,Albert Pujols, CarGo, Travis d'Arnaud and Kenley Jansen for MY Andrew McCutchen, Mike Olt, Bubba Starling, Tim Hudson and Eric Hosmer

Here's my team and the league parameters (14-team, pts, h2h)...remember, it's dynasty, so as nice as Pujols looks, not sure I want to lose Cutch and Hosmer's potential for Pujols/Cargo. Worried about CarGo's health and Pujols' age, but I do need a LF better than Victorino esp since Victorino's moving to RF. Is it perhaps better to keep what I have and try to get a LF using my specs? Important to note we only use 8 SP per week:

C Perez, Salvador
1B Hosmer, Eric
2B Pedroia, Dustin
3B Cabrera, Miguel
SS Andrus, Elvis

I actually think I would do the trade, you will have trade value in Elvis but in a 14 teamer, someone will want him. Cargo turning 27 this yr, I think he will have a very solid yr. Albert still has a solid 4 years of great productivity left in him before a real noticeable decline starts.

I say do that deal. It makes you better now and for the next 2-3 years.

Please help with mine? http://www.fantasybaseballcafe.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=454917

I have to agree you are getting 2 great producers in Pujols and CarGo and also young stud C in d'Arnaud; as much as McCuthcheon is nice to have this deal makes you better

I would do the trade, although I'm not sure about expecting 4 solid years of great productivity from Pujols.
