My league is standard 10 man H2H. I get to keep 6, this is our first year with keepers so they all have max time left. I have chosen 5.
Matt Wieters, Bal C Billy Butler, KC 1B, DH Keep Chase Utley, Phi 2B Jimmy Rollins, Phi SS Jason Kipnis, Cle 2B Matt Kemp, LAD OF Keep Shin-Soo Choo, Cin OF Andre Ethier, LAD OF Martin Prado, Ari OF, 3B Yoenis Cespedes, Oak OF, DH Eric Hosmer, KC 1B Starlin Castro, ChC SS Keep Ichiro Suzuki, NYY OF Marco Scutaro, SF 2B, SS Colby Rasmus, Tor OF Mike Napoli, Bos C, 1B DTD Carlos Ruiz, Phi C SSPD Troy Tulowitzki, Keep
Clayton Kershaw, LAD SP Keep Roy Halladay, Phi SP Joel Hanrahan, Bos RP Wade Miley, Ari SP Bud Norris, Hou SP DTD Erik Bedard, Hou SP Jose Quintana, CWS SP J.J. Putz, Ari RP Alfredo Aceves, Bos RP Jonathon Niese, NYM SP
I think Cespedes has the highest upside, but that injury bug is always in my head until I see a full healthy season. Choo isn't as high (Top 25 vs Top 20 OF or better with Cespedes) but I think I feel a little more comfortable with him. Wieters is solid and might still have room to grow, but catcher seems a little deeper this year, especially in a 10-team league.
I think Cespedes if you want to max your upside of the three, Choo next unless you want to lock up that catcher spot with a quality player.
I would choose Cespedes slightly over Choo myself. I think it is a risk vs. reward situation...Cespedes has higher potential while Choo is probably more likely to provide consistent numbers. I would take the risk on Cespedes.
