Bruce is 26 years old, batting in a great lineup in a great park. He has hit 30+ HR each of the past 2 years and steals 8-9 bases. The context of the numbers for Bruce just point to a much better outcome even if the actual numbers are closer than most would think over the past 2 years. Willingham will most likely take a step back and Bruce is of the age that he could easily show even more this year. I think the ceiling for Willingham is probably right around the floor for Bruce. He is probably being underrated some but it is hard to buy into a 34 year old player in today's game.
