I'm pretty sure I know who I want to keep, but I'm torn between Cutch and Upton...I got a feeling Upton is going to have a great year...here is who I have to choose from..
Can keep up to three:
Carlos Santana, Cle C, 1B, DH Joey Votto, Cin 1B K Jason Kipnis, Cle 2B Alex Rodriguez*, NYY 3B, DH DL60 Ian Desmond, Wsh SS Allen Craig, StL 1B, OF Curtis Granderson, NYY OF Justin Upton, Atl OF Andrew McCutchen, Pit OF K Anthony Rizzo, ChC 1B Aaron Hill, Ari 2B Josh Willingham, Min OF, DH Alexei Ramirez, CWS SS
Clayton Kershaw, LAD SP K James Shields, KC SP Brett Anderson, Oak SP
I agree. Two top-10 players is always a great start. There'll be plenty of great pitchers available, and I'd have to think that with only two keepers, the majority of them will be hitters anyway.
But I don't think it is an "easy" choice. Upton is an excellent option.....I think the trade really boosts his value. I expect Upton to make a jump in production this year similar to what McCutchen did last year
But since McCutchen has already made that production jump, he is the safer bet.....slightly.
With only 3 keepers, you know those top 3-4 starters are going to be kept(verlander, strasburg, felix) there is no way I let someone have a chance at my kershaw....plus u only keep 3 so there will be tons of good offense to choose from, and u already have a great start in votto and cutch...good luck
