So, wavering back and forth on who to keep. A little background: 20-team pts league, pts are pretty standard with no penalty for K's for batters, speed is less valuable, and rosters are as listed below. So here are the guys vying for spots. Another thing to keep in mind, is that each team has three RP's starting, so that makes closers scarce amongst teams. * denotes likely keeper.
I'd probably try to trade Butler or Goldschmidt. They both have quite a bit of value right now and someone might overpay. If you can't trade yet I think it's still right to keep them both like you are doing, but I'd be looking to trade one once the season begins.
Anyways, I'd keep Perez for sure, and probably Myers for the last one. Bauer, Miller, Skaggs all have a shot to get in the rotation this year so if you are really high on any of them I could see keeping one of them over Myers. My preference is Miller, but being that pitching is always so much deeper I'd probably end up going with Myers.

Gio, Morrow, and Espinosa for Hamels and Moustakas
Morrow for Machado(He needs pitching)
Thoughts? And feel free to post a link
I'm not sure on either of those trades, i mean gio could be just as good as hammels, then u throw in morrow and espinosa....eh 2nd trade, I would want just a little more for morrow...as I can recall pitcher do score higher than hitters in points don't they? So I gave u my 10 I would go with....good luck....
I would also keep Perez but toss up between Myers and Bauer. They will both likely be in the bigs this season but I think pitching is easier to find than a batter.
I'd do the deal for Machado..I mean you have illegal SP depth to start with in a 20 teamer. Definite no to deal #1. Good potential 3b are extremely hard to find. I think you have yourself a David Wright/Scott Rolen type of 3b. You don't get those everyday. Remember how deep this league is. PItching even in a deep league can be patched up on the back end which is all you really need anyway. Iwakuma, Maholm, Norris types can be had up to the late-mid rounds of your draft (maybe even after in FA - you might find a starter or two - even in a deep league - trust me on this). You really should not pass up the chance to get a good young offensive player in Machado. Morrow is your 4th best starter (close wise) why not. I really like: C: Sal Perez 1B: Goldschmidt 2B: SS: 3B: Machado OF: Bautista OF: Stanton OF: Myers UTIL: Butler
SP: Gio Gonzalez SP: Darvish SP: Harvey
This team core is good young and balanced. An upside 2b like a Weeks and a solid SS like Keppinger or digging deeper an Everth Cabrera would bring a nice balance to your offense. Maybe trying to trade Butler for a 2b or SS and a solid RP would be a good idea. Maybe package Butler and one of your 'other' starters that you aren't keeping for some kind of passable 2b or ss or top RP (Kimbrel) with an extra early draft pick. Then you could keep Myers with the free spot. I might try a 2 for 1 to grab an elite closer like Kimbrel or a quality non-old 2b hmm maybe Kipnis or SS like Andrus or Castro.
The best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be!
I appreciate the input guys, I think I may just go after a 3b if I can swing one. I fear there wont be much in the way of 3b, 2b, SS in the draft. I added the projected points for each if the guys in the trade if that makes a difference.
I like morrow for the next 3 years more than harvey....way better team in the AL east, than NL east....plus look at morrows ability to have a great era and whip. He has the potential for 200 k's and 15 wins....offer harvey for machado maybe?
