Definitely b/w Shields and Medlen, IMO. I would go with Medlen.

I would go Shields if you can keep him only this year, Medlen if its possible to keep him more than one season. Medlen is too young and has too much upside to pass on if you can keep him for multiple years

If more than one year than Medlen for sure. If just for this upcoming year, Shields should shine in KC now. So Shields has the higher immediate upside to me.
