I'm in a keeper points league and I am thinking about making a trade. If you could get one of these guys in a trade who would you take and why. I am leaning toward Middlebrooks because I feel like Lawrie is injury prone, and doesn't have nearly as much power, but Middlebrooks K's worry me.

I'd go with Lawrie. I think its too early to label him injury prone yet. Their OBPs are too close to be relevant but the high K% with Middlebrooks scares me. Also you're going to get 15+ SBs from Lawrie.
I think Lawrie wins, not but a ton but enough to make it an easy choice imo.

Agree with all of the above. Lawrie has the superior upside, but obviously, it all depends on the cost. Middlebrooks won't repeat that 20+% HR/FB ratio. Theoretically, if they are equal in cost, you go with Lawrie, no question. But Middlebrooks should come cheaper, it just depends on how much cheaper.

at this point in their respective careers its almost a wash. If you have a chance to keep Lawrie long range, i'd go for him. But if its a one year deal, you'll probably get around the same production. They are both kind of injury risks too.
