DL Spots. When are they activated?

Hi, this is probably a clown question bros, but when can my league start to slot their injured players into the DL? Is it opening day of baseball? Thx dudes.

I can't speak for other sites. On Yahoo! guys get DL status when they are actually put on the DL by their teams, and the teams typically have little reason to do so prior to season start. There is a small handful of guys in our player pool that have carried over DL status from last year. They almost surely shouldn't, and we're looking into that now. My guess is that the handful of guys that currently have DL status will lose it relatively soon.
