Francisco Rodriguez is being called up by the Brewers.
CBS Sports' Jon Heyman reports that the Brewers are calling up reliever Francisco Rodriguez.
Rodriguez's minor league deal required that the Brewers make a decision by Wednesday whether to add him the roster. The 31-year-old struck out seven over four scoreless innings in the minors and could work his way into the late innings for Milwaukee.

what are the chances KRod can at some point take over as closer for the Brewers?
Jim Henderson hasn't done anything to be removed. 7 saves, and 0 blown saves. good ERA, good WHIP, good K. but a manager can still look at a pitcher who has been a consistent and sometimes dominating closer.

Jansen, League, Jansen, League.
Dodgers manager Don Mattingly would not name Kenley Jansen his closer when asked after Tuesday's game.
Mattingly said on Monday that Brandon League was still his closer, but it was Jansen, not League, that closed out the 2-0 win over the Nationals Tuesday by striking out the last batter. League never warmed up in the game. "In that game, I had to go with the guy who's throwing the ball best; as much as anything he's been throwing the ball better than anybody," Mattingly said of Jansen. It's possible League will get the next save opportunity, but it's clear Jansen is the guy Mattingly trusts more. He should officially have the job before long.

so any idea on what is taking so long for Mattingly to say Jansen is the closer instead of League?

No walks from him today. And the hit was a half swing from Freddie Freeman.

Bell, I dare say, has looked pretty good.

He would be more insurance for the set up role that Axford has. Henderson has been lights out
