Hard to say. He was awful vs RHB last year so I'd think if he gets it he'd probably eventually get exposed in the role.

Hernandez has been just as bad and allowed 3 earned runs in has last start blowing the game in the 8th.

Yes. I think Rondon might be moving ahead of Marmol.

If Hanrahan is good while Bailey is out I could once again see him as the guy going forward. Having 2 capable closers on a team is a good situation for the Red Sox but a confusing one for fantasy.

Dont be surprised if its Heath Bell to replace Putz. He has been solid so far this year. And of course has closer experience

Not really. He's been terrible. K/9 has been good, but he has been far from solid.

With that being said, I wouldn't be surprised if he replaced Putz.

Bell hasn't been bad. K% = 32 and BB% = 6. His BABIP is .483 which is insane. Not that Kirk Gibson knows what any of this is, he'd probably think it was a recipe for a bomb or something. And there's no way a guy can be gritty enough to be a closer with a 5.91 ERA. If he did, by some miracle, give the job to Heath Bell, I think there's a decent chance he could succeed.
