Ken Rosenthal of FOXSports.com talked to Angels’ Ryan Madson (elbow) and he didn't sound optimistic about returning soon. He's sore after a simulated game yesterday.

How silly would it be to drop Cishek for Mujica?

Cishek just seems like a waste of a roster spot on my bench right now.

Mujica should be owned in all leagues. If you can get him in your league now it sounds like you're playing in a pretty shallow league. When you start getting into those 10 team/mixed/shallow penetration type leagues, it really doesn't matter if you dump borderline closers or starting pitchers. There's usually plenty of replacement level guys on the WW to pick right back up if it doesn't work out. Offense is typically overvalued in these types of leagues.

Not much closer news to speak of lately. Henderson had a nice save today, striking out two and getting a weak groundout to end the game, leaving an inherited runner stranded. Right now it looks like he'll have to have several blow ups to lose his job. Axford is definitely looking better but I can't see Roenicke displacing Henderson right now with him being dialed in like he is.

So much for Holland losing the closer role anytime soon. Wow he's been incredible.

He falls into the effectively wild style of closer. When things go bad they will go really bad but overall he should be pretty effective. That Royals bullpen is just stacked with Holland, Herrera, Crow and Collins.

Who is the current closer in Chicago at the moment? Marmol? When is Fujikawa due back and is he guaranteed the job?
