Radio guy for KC just posted on twitter that Yost told him there was "no question that Holland is still his closer".

Still, I can't imagine his leash is all that long. Seems like KC fans are gonna revolt if Holland blows another save.

Disagree.
There was a long rain delay.. plus two pitches he threw were strikes not called.
One crossed a good 10% of the plate and Salty needs a course on how to frame a pitch.

He wont lose his job over this game.

No he won't but he was high on the list of guys unlikely to hold their job all season so he is a must have the handcuff type of guy. Hanrahan was awful last year even if it didn't show in his ERA.

As for KC, Yost is arguably the worst decision making manager in baseball, there is no predicting what he will do.

Dusty is the old school type who doesn't like young players which can be frustrating for fantasy but isn't always awful for real life.

Yost is the type of guy where if there are two or three options that make some sort of sense will pick option 4 which is the only one that is clearly awful. It wouldn't surprise me even a tiny bit if he went with Hochevar as closer even though they have 4 experienced RP that could handle the job.

Looking at some speculative adds for saves...in Oakland is Ryan Cook the guy after Balfour? And for San Diego, Gregerson or Thayer?

Thanks

I would say Cook and Gregerson.

Haha, +1 for total accuracy.

Well, based on last season, one would expect it to be Thayer. Much less certain about Oakland but I'd say it's Cook by a slim margin provided he continues to avoid the bad innings.

Jensen with the save last night for the Dodgers. Was League unavailable?

Yes, Leauge threw a lot of pitches the night before.

Fujikawa just blew the save against San Francisco, allowed 3 runs on 3 hits.
