Ottoneu Keepers/Help?

Anyone out there do ottoneu? I signed up to take over an abandoned team and after doing a little reading in the fangraphs forums may have bitten off more than I intended...some serious analysis going on. Please tell me there are average people that like keeper/dynasty formats in these.

The roster I inherited is:
Kershaw $35
Adam Jones $22
Phillips $17
Rollins $14
Asdrubal $19
Freese $8
Parker $4
Detwiler $4
Olt $3
Bradley $2

The commish is also letting me evaluate players the old owner just cut. The only ones I'm contemplating are Beltre at $33 and Jon Jay at $4.
Beltre gives me 3B to deal from and Jon Jay seems worth $4...or am I crazy to drop $4 on him? There aren't a ton of OF available in the draft and Jay looks like he was one of the higher scoring guys last year.

Anyway, any prevailing strategies? The auction is this Saturday.
I'm thinking of leaving $15-$20 for in-season moves and maybe 5-6 open roster spots?

Hmm kinda shaky. You have two SS. I'd try to deal one of them for

SP: Detwiler, Parker
You desperately need to pick up a 1b and an upgrade to your rotation. Yes I'd keep Beltre he's your best offensive player all around and maybe trade Rollins?
