Just for clarification: Red Hopeful's 12-hour window began with the PM I sent at 9:10am.

People should really start giving their picks to others if they are not going to be around for awhile. Red Hopeful was last on at 1:30 am last night and Twisted Dude was last on at 7 pm, just an hour before the last pick.

Just wanted to give Twisted a little more time this morning. Cafe veterans are usually good about drafts so it's fair to give someone a little more time in case something went down in his real life. Sorry to all those I didn't make a pick at first opportunity but we're not pressed for time. In an elite league, I'd rather we all end up having the best drafts possible than finishing a day or two earlier.

Making pick shortly. ;-)

I understand where you are coming from Red, and I appreciate your desire to offer fellow Cafe regulars the best opportunity to have a good draft. I think that it is fair enough to move ahead after 12 hours, with the caveat that the person who missed their pick can make it at any time going forward.

I like the Gio pick there and was looking at him this round, especially with the recent reports making it sound like he didn't acquire any banned substances from Biogenesis (lowering any risk of a suspension).

It was going to be Bumgarner, Wainwright or Gio for me in this round. Had not settled on who would get first shot, but others made the choice for me by taking Bumgarner and Wainwright.

I'll admit the PED thing had me scared, and still does a bit. But today's reports seem to have him clear of it, at least for now.

You might as well change your team name to the Nationals! :-b

No problem, Twisted. Just glad to know you're not in a ditch somewhere...
