I'm in a 16-team dynasty league where you keep all your players year to year, it's H2H 6x6 categories (standard 5x5 plus OBP and holds), we start 2 1B and 2 3B. you get a 5 man milb roster.
i give: braun and pineda i get: kershaw, josh johnson, carl crawford, huston street, oswaldo arcia and kaleb cowart
That's obviously a huge haul, but I'd also have to drop a lot of guys which is one of the reasons im questionable. The guys I'd probably drop: bailey, bell, wallace, and clayton blackburn. I think Wallace and Bell have decent upside this year. (ill take suggestions if you think there are other guys i should drop instead, besides matusz, who im sure would be a popular choice, im gonna give him one more chance.)
My team is: C-Wieters 1B-Allen Craig 1b-Chris Davis 2b-Ackley 3b-hanley 3b-wright ss-alcides lf-braun cf-mccutchen rf-harper of-stanton util-neil walker bench-gordon beckham, ichiro, profar, brett wallace, gary sanchez, josh bell, buxton
pitchers- Bauer, harvey, Pineda, B. Anderson, Felix, Darvish, Arroyo, Neftali, Matusz, Pomeranz, Rafael Soriano, Cishek, Andrew Bailey, bundy, clayton blackburn, buehrle, mike fiers, ryan vogelsong
So do I pull the trigger? Does whether or not I get cowart change the answer?

I keep Braun In a 16 team league, you have a great offense. Why put Crawford in for Braun? Kershaw is nice, but your SP isn't bad. Plus you have to cut players also.

My first thought was do the deal. the more I look at it, I say pass and improve 2B as well. Kershaw is going to be a top ACE for some years to come but Braun is a top of all players for 5 more years. SP's tend to pop up every now and again, replacing a Braun sometimes never happens. Just look at who you have now, Darvish, out of no where is a MLB layer. Yes he started out slow but he could be a top 10 SP for the next 5 years with any luck.
