I had Ellsbury set to go in the 3rd and when he was taken just ahead of me I decided to move Teix up , like I said you take 'em when you can't wait any longer.

Agreed. Too many times have I thought that so and so will still be there in the next round but everyone has their plans. Might as well take the guy you want. If anything, this kind of draft forces me to see the stats beyond the names and settle for someone equivalent yet not as shiny and pretty.
First pitcher in the 9th round!? C'mon Ayebatter, that's weak. You should have filled the entire infield first. Not a bad guy to start things off, though.

Hmm, I didn't think I reached that much on Medlen. I definitely reached but I don't think he's the biggest reach so far. That would be Desmond Jennings IMO. I have 5 different projections that say Medlen was one of 3 best starters left at that time and I liked his upside better than the other two.
Plus, like others said, with 14 teams you have to take the players you like. There are a couple guys that I'm a little bugged about not getting but the reach wasn't worth the projection. So, I ended up drafting staring pitching. I just didn't like the players who were supposed to go at the time I drafted, and didn't like how far I had to reach to get the player I wanted and hoped they came back to me... but they didn't. It's just tough to gauge a 14 player draft in February.
