Looking for a site other than chatroll that has a decent chat box that is compatible with ESPN... Thoughts?

I like Shoutmix, we have used it for a while and everyone loves it. Code very easy and compatible - nice layout.

They just started charging last year for it (99 cents/month) but it's worth it.

I am looking for a free chat box also. I have been using cbox.ws but there is something in their html that does not agree with ESPN. Any suggestions for a free one?

I use cbox on espn with no issues. The key it to keep it at a width of like 500 pixels or less and make sure you're pasting in all the correct html and no less.

Thanks for the reply. I did have mine set at 600. That was probably the reason for the trouble.

I've used cbox in multiple ESPN leagues for two years now and it works with no problems. You can customize the look and size from their site once you log on (it's more flexible than I first thought). Additionally, for a one-time fee, you can buy the advanced version with some extras (I did that for one league where people were posting as other people, so the upgrade lets you create an id/password for each poster so you know who's posting regarding of the stated name).

I don't know if other services offer more, but cbox is free, basic and flexible. I definitely recommend it for the day-to-day chatting while using the message posts for the larger/more serious issues/official issues and threads to discuss.
