My team is loaded and I want to keep it that way. Most of my keepers seem to be no-brainers. My biggest problem is that I have 6 keeper outfielders.
League type: H2H Points Keepers: 8 Positions: C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, MI, CI, OF (3), U, SP (5), RP (2) Rules: K's count against the batter. Pitchers must play their position.

My ranking of keepers as of right now: 1. Mike Trout (OF) 2. Miguel Cabrera (3B) 3. Andrew McCutcheon (OF) 4. Justin Verlander (SP) 5. Bryce Harper (OF) 6. Jose Bautista (OF) 7. Zack Greinke (SP) 8. Yoenis Cespedes (OF) 9. Gio Gonzalez (SP) 10. Kris Medlen (SP) 11. Paul Goldschmidt (1B) 12. Jose Altuve (2B)
My question is, who should I keep for the eighth spot? If I keep Cespedes I have more outfielders than I can field. Keeping Gonzalez or Medlen would be nice but starting pitchers are a dime a dozen. Goldschmidt and Altuve are attractive players because of their age and position but do I give up to much to keep one of them?
I think your best 8 are the ones you listed. No way I touch Gonzalez over one of the others with the PED situation. Goldschmidt would probably be your best pick in place of Cespedes if you can't make a deal. Pretty obvious that a 2 for 1 deal involving at least one of your OFs is called for. There is no point keeping someone who will not start for you. Maybe try Cespedes and Greinke for Kershaw if the Kershaw owner needs a keeper? That would allow you to keep Goldschmidt and go in with the top 2 starters in MLB. That or target Cano as the top 2b or someone like Votto imo.
Unfortunately 2-for-1's are not allowed in the off-season. I have been looking for a trade for Bautista but I haven't had any offers and my offers have been rejected. I wouldn't mind downgrading in a trade for Bautista as I think my team would be stronger with a solid infielder. Any suggestions on who I should try to get?

For me the last keeper comes down to Medlen or Goldschmidt. I'm not sure how many teams are in your league or which first basemen will be available in the draft. Maybe you can draft a guy like Trumbo for 1b- not as good an avg but good power. With Justin Upton no longer in Arizona, that doesn't help Goldy and he might be a year or two away from breaking out anyway. Medlen was so good last year- can he keep it going? If it was me, I'd roll with Medlen, but I can't fault you if you go with Goldy.
I would definitely keep Cespedes. Worse case scenario you could deal one of your outfielders during the season to strengthen another position. I'd try to keep the best 8 regardless of position. Your team is very solid. Good luck.
