***NOTE*** I traded away my 3rd round pick before last season's playoffs.
I am in a 12-team H2H Keeper (6x6). Instead of OBP, the league is counting Walks this year. We get to keep 4 players by forfeiting their draft place from the following year. Yahoo Fantasy has recently been activated and after looking at the current draft rankings, I am not so sure who to draft as my 4th keeper. So far, I have selected these 3 keepers:
1 - Kemp (I forfeit 1st Round) (Currently ranked #5 on Yahoo) 2 - Rizzo (I forfeit 23rd Round) (Currently ranked #74 on Yahoo) 3 - Bumgarner (I forfeit 7th Round) (Currently ranked #46 on Yahoo)
Now, I also have these players who offer GREAT value!
B Anderson (I forfeit 22nd Round) (Currently ranked #154 on Yahoo) Wainwright (I forfeit either 7th Round, or 8th round if I keep Bumgarner as well) (Currently ranked #48 on Yahoo) J Bruce (I forfeit 6th Round) (Currently ranked #38 on Yahoo)
Most people have told me to keep Jay Bruce as my 4th keeper, but I am a little worried since the league has a Walk category this year. We all know that Bruce strikes out 2000 times a year and walks 5 times. I have always kept hitters over pitchers, but which way should I go this time?!?!? Please help and I will return the favor!

Sure he strikes out a lot, but that's not really relevant because he still walks a good amount (10% BB% is very good). Not sure what the problem is there. If anything he gains value in a league that counts walks.
