I inherited a team in a 12 team H2H 6x6 keeper league with OBP and Losses as added stats.
You can keep 5 players forever and the price goes up 3 dollars a year.
Here are the easy ones:
Jay Bruce 10
Bryce Harper 11
Shields 7
Here are my options for the last two:
Hanley Ramirez $31
Ben Zobrist $22
Jonathan Papelbon $18
Rafael Betancourt $8
James Shields $7
Jason Kubel $4
Mitch Moreland $4
Alex Rios $4
Kyle Lohse $4
James McDonald $4
Wade Miley $4
I think I have to keep Alex Rios based on price, however I really hate him and I don't think he will have a good year.
I was thinking I would just keep Zobrist and Hanley Ramirez as top notch guys seem to go for a lot of money in this league.
Also, would you consider trading Bryce Harper for Cargo if Cargo is also $11

I could easily see making the choice to keep Hanley and Zobrist from that group....but
I would keep Rios instead of Zobrist and save the money.
I would not consider trading Harper

If i were you id keep Harper Bruce Ramirez Miley Sheilds i would suggest Rios if u look at his career he is a bi yearly player so he played well last year the trend leans towards him not having a good year this year

See if you can get Cargo for Rios+Shields/Lohse+pick - Doubt it but both are bargains maybe.
If no trade:
Jay Bruce 10
Bryce Harper 11
James Shields 7
Kyle Lohse 4 (he will sign and he's a great value here - I think best value here)
Wade Miley 4
The best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be!

Thanks All.
MadDog, originally I had the same plan as you but I think I may be able to get Lohse or Miley for same 4 dollars it would cost me to keep them, what do you think?
Also, do you think that's too many pitchers to keep?
Is everyone in agreement that Rios is just not going to have the year he had last year?
As for trading Rios for in any trade for Cargo its a no go, he hates Rios as much as I do.
If I was set on keeping Hanley or Zobrist who does everyone think is the better value?
If I keep Hanley or Zobrist and a pitcher who is better Miley or Lohse?

Rios and shields for cargo? Not in a million years, my man. I would never go for that trade.

I don't like Lohse. Last year is unrepeatable. I'd go Miley.

Zobrist and Lohse for me. You can't beat Zobrist's flexibility, consistency, and ability to produce in every category (especially playing shortstop), and Lohse would give you a discount pitcher right off the bat. Rios is interesting but much too volatile for me.
