Because this is a theme league you must keep the name of the team you will be taking over, the Baltimore Black Sox, or replace it with another Negro League team name from the past. THIS TEAM HAS THE #1 PICK IN THE DRAFT. YOU MAY KEEP UP TO 8 PLAYERS FROM CURRENT ROSTER.

We have a couple specific rules you should know about since we are trying to make this as realistic as when the teams played in the '30s and '40s: NO DH; ONLY 1 SP PER DAY (This means if you have Jered Weaver and Felix Hernandez going the same day, you must choose just 1. This happens alot so it is important to draft a strong pitching staff.); NO HIDING AN SP WITH RP STATUS IN A RELEIVER SPOT (This won't be tolerated and numerous incidents will dismiss you from the league.
This is a democratic league so if you have an issue with the rules or an idea, I will put it up for a league vote.
Finally, you must remain active throughout the season. We have a good group of owners who participate and wish to win, so it's only fair to them that you participate fully in things such as keeping your trading block updated; participating in voting for proposed trades; voting in league polls, etc..
The draft date has yet to be determined.
