Last 3 times this feat has occured (starting with the most recent):

1.) May 19th, 2003: Carlos Pena had 3 HR and 7 RBI in a game which his team lost 10-9 to the Indians.

2.) The one I'm looking for, It happened between 1987 and 2003. Oddly enough this player's team also lost to the Indians.

3.) Sept. 14th, 1987: Mickey Brantley had 3 HR and 7 RBI in a game which his team lost 11-8, also to Indians.

The player who did this was not known for hitting HRs. For his career he did not hit more than 200 HR and never cracked 30 in a season. The player is now retired.
