Keeper choice

Postby Grounded Polo » Tue Feb 05, 2013 9:35 pm

12 team roto, 5x5, keep 6, no restrictions

I'm locked into J Upton, Felix, Gio, Adam Jones, and Wright, not sure about my last spot - either Dickey, Wainwright, or Freddie Freeman. Dickey was the choice when I asked months ago but not sure if the trade makes a difference.

I'd also like to say I can compete this year but the defending champ's team is just too stacked - Tulo, Kemp, Fielder, Verlander, Beltre, and of course he had Trout in his minors system. I'm thinking about just rolling the dice on Freeman now that mock drafts have my 3 options pegged at similar draft values but would like to be talked out of it if that's not the way to go.

I go Dickey still. Have him ranked decently above Freeman.

I go Freeman too; I don't dislike choosing Dickey here but i lean hitter and ff5 is solid and young

Yes Freeman is solid entering his third year, better lineup protection hitting in a premium spot in the lineup. You already have 2 keeper pitchers already and would go with Freeman I guess since you need the bat clearly.

Wainwright easily imo, a better SP then Gio.
He is a top 15, maybe top 10 SP.

Close between Gio and Wainwright. I'd take Gio.

Freeman is ur best bet he is young and has huge upside and he should have a solid core of players infront of him in the lineup with BJ, Simmons justin and heyward should give him lots of RBI chances
