Keeper Format: 1st Rounders

Postby Fade2White12 » Tue Feb 05, 2013 11:59 am

This poll is about how we should handle multiple first round picks. Because this league was originally billed as one where you have the choice of keeping a player indefinitely, I am not including an option where any player who is a 1st Round pick automatically is returned to the pool the following year. Again, this is about what we should do with multiple 1st Round picks.

Here are the options:
A. No Penalty:
Two 1st Round picks cost you your 1st/2nd picks in the draft (three cost 1st/2nd/3rd, etc.). Players can be kept indefinitely, and no players are required to be returned to the draft pool.
*This is essentially our current format.

B. One 1st Rounder Maximum:
You may only keep a single 1st Round player each season. Any additional players must be returned to the draft pool.

C. Other
Honestly, since I don't want to include an option where any 1st Rounder is automatically purged from your team the following year, I can't really think of another alternative that makes much sense. If you have a preference other than A. or B., please say so! ;-D

I voted B but my feelings on it aren't very strong given the rapid turnover of top end talent these days.

I voted A I have no problem with multiple picks kept as 1st rounders, but either A or B works for me.

Although the potential still exists for a tie, I did set the deadline for voting on polls for tomorrow, 2/11.

If anyone has yet to vote, or wants to change their previous vote, please do so by tomorrow. ;-D
