Is this enough for McCutchen?(WHIR)

Postby kidsilk » Mon Feb 04, 2013 10:52 pm

16 team, auction type, 300 dollar cap, can keep as many players as you want per year, 7x7 points league with starting pitching favored and streaming allowed.

I have McCutchen at 37 dollars for this year and have been offered the following for him:

Sandoval(22)
Eovaldi(4)
Masterson(7)
Teheren(1)

Would you make this deal? I would keep all 4 of these guys.

My Team without keepers which are due this Saturday:

Miguel Cabrera, 1B(58)
Andrew McCutchen, OF(37)
Ian Kinsler, 2B(34)
Buster Posey, C(28)
Hunter Pence, OF(24)
Howie Kendrick, 1B/2B/OF(22)
Corey Hart, OF(17)
Wilson Ramos, C(16)
Asdrubal Cabrera, SS(14)
Cameron Maybin, OF(8)
Eric Hosmer, 1B(5)
Stephen Drew, SS(5)
Alcides Escobar, SS(4)

Pitchers
Tim Hudson, SP(17)
Edinson Volquez, SP(13)
Randy Wolf, SP(11)
Bud Norris, SP(9)
Joe Saunders, SP(9)
Brandon League, RP(9)
Josh Tomlin, SP(8)
Kenley Jansen, RP(7)
Derek Lowe, SP(7)
A.J. Burnett, SP(7)

I do not think so, not a fan of any of those players.

no chance. If you are dying to trade him (no clue why) look for a top pitcher + a bat. Your pitching is pretty weak. Derek Lowe?

You don't really save money and the downgrade is significant. I would stay away from this deal.

Ok, I turned it down. SO my next question is who should I keep from this team this year? Please help and leave your links. Also remember that the more pitching the better. Thanks.

sorta depends on the league on who you keep. If everyone is keeping their whole teams you will have to look at whats available. Certainly a few of your pitchers and a couple bats could be dropped but it really depends on the league. Ive played in leagues like this and it can even come down to your draft position if you drop certain guys or not.

As i believe McCutchen wont have the same type stats as last year i still dont agree that deal

Panda- will have a good year i think but the rest of those are toss ups on how they will do if anything

If ur really high on Panda id tell him u want quality and not quanity Panda and another mid round talent would be alot easier to handle than panda and 3 Questionable late round talents
