And now I must choose ONE from the following players:
Mauer (6) Moustakas (9) Cueto (11) Minor (24) AJ Griffin (24) Lynn (24)
Thoughts on my final keeper? With SP so deep I'm wondering if it would be a waste to keep a second SP. Would it be better to go with Mauer or Moustakas over them? Or is the value too good to pass up on the arms?
I would probably take Lynn. He was dominate for most of last year but I think he started to wear down at the end. I would be ok with Mauer although I don't think that he is a very sure thing and with a 6th round pick I would want something safer.

I might be crazy here, but I really like Cueto. He's a dominant pitcher who does well in several categories (K, W, WHIP, ERA on road) and always seems to feast on teams like Pittsburgh and Chicago, teams he plays several times a year. An 11th round pick for him seems to make the value even better. With him and Wainwright as your top 2 + young position guys in Trout and Harper, you'll be feasting on strong players in the draft, while (assumedly) several owners won't have early round picks and you can grab another bat or two there.

I like Cueto here, Lynn would be my second choice, Minor 3rd. It's close between the 3 but I think Cueto is too solid to pass up. He isn't the best value for the round you give up, but you get him several rounds later than a draft and you lock up a damn solid no. 2 starter in the process. Lynn doesn't even have a spot in the rotation in St. Louis yet, and Minor is a total wildcard, whom you can probably get in the 18th round or so without a problem.
