2nd Year in Fantasy League so our Free Agency was pretty weak, League is a Proboards league where we take a team and keep their top players and top prospects, I got the Rockies, scoring is ESPN standard 6x6.
League is slaray cap contract yeay roster with a $110m Cap and allow 75 contract years, I am $40m under budget with 5 contract years left. Does my team look like a potential playoff sleeper team or should I sell off most my team for prospects and draft picks?

I also have a pending where I would possibly aquire Javier Baez/Jose Fernandez/Drew Vettleson/Jeimer Candelario for Starlin Castro/Cody Asche/4th RD Amateur draft pick
If it is a small league it is a firesale team; if it is a very large league you could be ok. I wouldn't trade Castro in either case; he's the kind you want to make a play for, not trade away

We are a 16 team league, pitching is my issue for sure and the FA period lacked star pitchers Baker and Arroyo where the best options, alot of relievers and I am going to be saves/holds heavy, but could be helpful at trade deadlines. Also if Archer and Kelly makes their rotation , I feel I instantly upgrade my Starting pitching there. Castro/Cargo/Sano are pretty much my only untouchables
Your lineup is decent enough and your bullpen is strong enough that in a 16 team league you could be a sleeper. However, as you know you SP is gross.
The good news is that you have plenty of trade chips. Whats the market like for Rutledge? In a deep league I can see him being a good trade chip especially since you have him locked up on a very good contract.
Also like you said you should definitely be able to move some of your closers/bullpen arms to bring back a decent haul.
With a trade or two, I think you could be really happy with your team.

Haven't had much offers for Rutledge, everyone is after Castro and he might be the key in a Verlander or King Felix type starter in the mix, been trying to get Jordan Zimmermann because someone hs interest in Nakajima but he also wants Alonso and Sano in a deal, and Sano is prett much my only untouchable I have
Yea i wouldnt trade Castro he is a top 3 SS in the league but if i was u id pick up Adam Eaton with ARI trading young and Upton they opened the gates for Eaton to start the year in the outfield and he has the talent to be a solid producer

I do have Eaton, I just have him on a MiLB contact meaning he isn't on my active roster, but he counts towards my cap and contract years. I can call him up at anytime if needed...we get 3 options on every player
I think you could get a replacement outfielder and a decent pitcher for Cargo with him being a top 10 outfielder u can use that to get a solid outfielder and a upgrade at SP for him just a thought might as well throw him out there and see what u can get
