Better Keeper: Darvish or Cespedes

Hi all,

So it looks like there are some smart guys on this board, and I really would appreciate your thoughts on who is the better keeper: Yu Darvish or Yoenis Cespedes? Here is my league and my other keepers below. Basic, 5x5 mixed league with $260 cap and 7 keepers allowed. We draft 23 players and 3 reserves (auction draft).

My other keepers are (with keeper price):
Votto 1B ($30)
Pedroia 2B ($26)
Jose Bautista OF ($15)
McCutchen OF ($18)
Strasburg SP ($20)
Price SP ($23)

so for my 7th and final keeper, who is more valuable to keep for 2013? Yu Darvish for $15 or Yoenis Cespedes for $8

I think it'd be quite close if they were the same price. With Cespedes being so much cheaper I think he's the easy choice.

Hitting over pitching, cheaper = better, and you are already putting $43 into two pitchers.

Agree with all of this.

Everything being equal, I would still go with Cespedes.

Definitely agree on going with Cespedes, especially with how much you already invested in pitching. I think you'll get better bang for the buck with him.
