10 year AL only 5x5 (OBP in place of BA)

I trade a B year $7 Greg Holland and B year $5 Stephen Drew. I get a B year $10 Eric Hosmer?

I am asking for a $5 Kelvin Herrera back in a counter to help with relief innings.

But thoughts on the overall deal?

I think I like it. Hosmer is going to start producing, just hope it's in 13' and not 14'. Drew does very little for me and in a mixed 10 team league he would go undrafted, AL only obv changes that. If you can get a little bit more, get it, if not still take it.

He wouldn't give up Herrera, but like you said, I think I am going to pull the trigger on the deal regardless. There's still a chance he doesn't keep him and I can get him at the auction.

I probably roll the dice here with Hosmer. In an AL only league I like the opportunity to buy low on a guy who still has plenty of upside. At this time last year you couldn't touch Hosmer without giving up a boatload, now you are getting him for a closer and mediocre SS.

I will take that deal all day long. Relief pitching is so volatile and I would have little worry about dealing off Holland. Drew is a solid SS but I think the upside of Hosmer is well worth trading for.
