16 teams

C - Russell Martin
1B - Prince Fielder
2B - Gordon Beckham
3B - Chase Headley
SS - Jose Reyes
OF - Jay Bruce
OF - Nick Swisher
OF - Shane Victorino
UTIL - David Oritz
UTIL - Justin Morneau

SP - Yu Darvish
SP - James Shields
RP - Grant Balfour
RP - Chris Perez
P - Tim Lincecum
P - Matt Harvey
P - Ryan Dempster
P - Vance Worley

BN - Juan Pierre
BN - Matt Joyce
BN - Michael Pineda
BN - Brian Wilson
BN - Daniel Hudson

I love doing early drafts. I love the unpredictability of them. Since there isn't really a "set" ADP yet, it's pretty much a crapshoot if a certain player is going to fall to you. It makes it more exciting.

All in all, I'm pretty happy with how my team turned out. Obviously, there are a few weak links and question marks, but what can you really do? I took a chance on some guys I'm hoping to either rebound or breakout this year, but I think I took them in spots where it was worth taking the risk.

I would have to say especially in a 16 team I would be happy with that.

I think you did fine overall talent wise but you have issues with BA, ERA and probably WHIP. I'd look to make some trades to improve this without sacrificing too much. Closers go for a premium in 16 teamers so maybe before you have too big of a hole in anything you may try trading them for a bat and arm upgrade in a package deal, while keeping an eye on the WW for potential closers that pop up during the year.
