Everth is being drafted around pick 300 in MDC drafts. Seems like he holds quite a bit of value. Even if he hits around .250. He stole 44 of 48 bases last year... in 115 games! If he's the starter, he can legitimately get up into the 60 to 70 steal range, with around 70 runs or more if he moves up the lineup with a little development.

Doesn't seem too crazy to expect a line like .260/ 70 runs/ 70 steals/ 5 HR/ 40 RBI. I'll take that from my shortstop in the 25th round!

What do you guys think?

I think he's going to steal 60 bases this year and post similar numbers to what you predict. The trouble with him is if you have a team that has SBs covered already he won't be much use, his value is on teams that stack sluggers and can make up for the RBI deficit he will have. He's a great bench/plug in guy but not someone I am going to draft and start all year unless my team is loaded up on power and light in Sbs. For where he is being drafted I think he is a very good bargain though.

He can be a bargain pick if you have a high avg guy or two to offset his low avg.
