Who's a better keeper? WHIR

Postby jruffus1 » Tue Jan 29, 2013 10:17 pm

In a 12 team H2H keeper league (6x6), who should my last keeper be? Rounds are forfeited for players.

I can keep 4 players. So far I have:

Kemp (1st)
Bumgarner (7th)
Rizzo (23rd)

Which player will provide me with the most value?

Bruce (6th)
B Anderson (23rd)
Wainwright (8th)

Wainwright 8th
Anderson carries too much risk

I like Wainwright but I don't like him in the 8th---

I would take Bruce, I would keep the best players unless the round was just ridiculous and I dont think it is here. Give me a good hitter over a pitcher any day when selecting keeps

12 teams, 8 rounds, 96 players.
MDC
Bruce 50th
Wainwright 53rd

I love Bruce, so i wouldn't argue against him, but Wainwright is 2 rounds better value.

I take Bruce. I think he is a safer bet than Wainwright and I rather keep the hitter anyway. Sixth round vs 8th does not make that much of a difference that I would want to take on the extra risk assoicated with a pitcher who has yet to return to elite levels and has an injury history.

I've got Bruce Ranked 48th overall and Wainwright 67th. Little less than two rounds difference, but I think Bruce is a safer pick so I'd go with him.

I think Wainright provides the best value.

Wainwright is a marginally better value, but you're already keeping Bumgarner, so in turn I'd rather keep Bruce in this scenario
