I don't think yahoo or espn have a slow auction capability, what are the other options out there?
Does anyone want to set up and commish the league? I was thinking one of the following formats:
1. 5x5 Traditional Roto
2. 5x5 Head to Head with QS replacing W's
3. 7x7 Head to Head adding OBP, SLG, QS, Team Wins

I lean towards Head to Head. After avoiding that kind of league, i played in one last year and really enjoyed it.

Slwo auction would normally be done on something like proboards.com, then commish would transfer draft results over to whichever site was chosen.

I would be interested too. would prefer the actually league was run through yahoo. for the actually draft it is usually best to just host it on a separate board or yahoo group then just plug the players in to yahoo after. get at me ewilson2@oswego.edu would be willing to help set up the leauge

I have a league I'm starting on Fantrax. I was planning on doing a live auction draft, but with the volume of people interested in a slow auction I am certainly flexible to go with that. I've never run a slow auction before, so if you guys are interested in this format perhaps one of you could give me some pointers on how best to conduct it (I imagine it will be fairly straightforward, but I'd like to make sure I cover all the bases). Really, after doing some thinking on it, I think a slow auction will probably be the best route for a league like this anyways.

This is a 16 team dynasty league with minors. Starting lineups are C,2-CI,2-MI,3-OF,3-UTIL,10-Pitchers with 10 bench spots and 5 IR spots to be used only for actually injured or suspended players. Its a 6x6 H2H with R,HR,RBI,BA,SB,OPS for offense and W+CG+Shutouts,K,ERA,WHIP,QS,2xSaves+Holds for pitching. A small thing, each category is worth 0.62 so that the total regular season games for each team adds up to appx. 162. This is a salary/contract league with a unique feature, you pay for your share of the league salaries. Whatever your % of the league salaries is, that will be your % of the total league buy-in, so you get to set what your buy-in is. Minor leaguers cost $1 each (league minimum salary) but you don't have to own any if you don't want to.

Payouts

$200 - Champion
$150 - 2nd Place
$100 - 3rd Place
$50 - 4th Place
$40 - 5th and 6th Place
$30 - Division Champions
$20 - Monthly Best Record (April-August)

Sounds interesting. If you want H-H, I don't know what Team Wins stands for in option 3, but I would go for that if I had to choose though having AVG, OBP and SLG all together seem a bit much. Have OBP replace AVG, and add K's. And though I don't know what team wins are, I'd like expanding the universe of RP by adding HLD.
