What's up with the eDraft ads?

I have been on this forums for a 2-3 years now and have seen the same ads on the top banner the whole time. Yet I have no idea what the service is...their articles are pretty good but is that all they do?

Just curious on how they get so much ad space and don't seem to provide much more than sports news. Plus they are showing professional scores without a stats license, which is a no-no in this business.

Simple answer is they paid for the advertising. Pretty much anyone can buy any amount of advertising on most websites, all they have to do is pay for it.

I don't know who they are, how much they bought, or why they bought so much (if it's a lot) though. Best guess if they did buy a lot, is that they are trying to establish brand recognition. Really cheap to do that on the internet compared to something like television advertising. Anyway, that would be a question to ask them directly if you're losing sleep over it.
