Dynasty Trade?(WHIR)

Dynasty League where we each have a major league team and keep all players we have from year to year. Minor league system too. 5x5 roto style.

I have the White Sox and just took over the team this season.

I have been offered the following trade:

HIS Tim Lincecum, Brian Bogusevic, Matt Downs, Domingo Santana(Prospect) and the first pick in the second round of the draft for MY Paul Konerko, Gaving Floyd, and Nate Jones. What do you think?

I think I like the deal but I also think Lincecum will bounce back. I don't see Konerko keeping this up for much longer so you trade him before the bottom falls out along with an ok pitcher in Floyd for a guy that can be a top 5 SP. Risky move but one I would be willing to make.

Agreed again. I do like Konerko contrary to the post though. His age is a big negative though. I take the deal

Yeah, I like the deal. I think Konerko is almost done, though, so for me, now's the best time to trade him. I also like Domingo Santana quite a bit; he has a lot of risk, but he has a LOT of upside, too. Good hitter's park, big-time power, and he's at a good place on the development curve.

basically you are giving up Konerko and Floyd for Lincecum and prospect Domingo Santana, the other 2 guys are garbage and Lincecum is a upgrade over Floyd, and 1st Basemen are pretty easy to get come draft time, I would turn around and try to sell high on Jake Peavy while you can for a 3B.
