The acquisition of center fielder Milton Bradley will send Robin Ventura to the bench. Ventura, 36, was expected to play first base, but Shawn Green will move there.
I believe Green's value increases alot with the addition of Bradley. With his protection I think Green can hit 30+ home runs this year. I'm a little worried about the Lo Duca + Bradley situation though...
I think Adrian Beltre's value takes a hit. Nothing is finalized but it appears as though Tracy is going to bat him seventh in the lineup.
You know what that means for him:
Forget the man crush. I drop what I'm doing to watch Zack Greinke pitch.

Looks like he's still in the lineup:
As for the batting order, manager Jim Tracy said Bradley will bat third, following Dave Roberts and Cesar Izturis. Green will hit cleanup, followed by Paul Lo Duca, Juan Encarnacion, Adrian Beltre and Cora.
I wouldn't cut Roberts just yet.

Not sure I'd call him crappy with the steals he gets. I agree he's no stud, and pretty one dimensional, but his steals are valuable on the right teams.
2001---.277 with 45 steals in 127 games.
2002---.250 with 40 steals in 107 games.
Not great average numbers, but he's only got 975 career at bats (810 of them in the last two years), so it's a little early to just write him off.
Again, not saying he's a big deal or anything, but the average can improve and the steals are very nice since so few guys have the ability to steal 50 bags.

Roberts is cheap speed, sometimes even free agent speed. I sure don't want him playing all the time for me, but I might throw him in there for a handful of games to get a few steals here and there.

Jim Tracy is an idiot I understand that he wants speed at the top. But, is he desperate enough to use Cesar Izturis out of the 2 hole? Good lord...and talk about killing Adrian Beltre's confidence, he just did it.

Roberts looked like the odd-man out yesterday, but it looks like he'll bat leadoff. Robin Ventura IS the one out. Drop him if you have him.
