RA Dickey $4 Gio Gonzalez $14 McCutchen $32 Josh Hamilton $26.
Can only keep 3 for 1 year only. Please note that the highest player in our league typically goes for $41.
I believe I should keep RA, GIO and JOSH. My logic as as follows, I can get McCutchen back for $35 for sure, it's just the way our league bids. RA is a no brainer for the $4, Gio would go for $18-$20 because of a strong 2012. Josh should go for $33.
Talk me into something else, I am open for some discussion on this one.
If you are confident you can get McCutch back at basically the same price, then yes keep Hamilton, Dickey and Gio as they offer the best value in your league.
Sometimes you are just right and don't need to be talked into a mistake!
As I said, I know I can get McCutchen back for $35, but I am not sure that I even want him. I think there is a lot of players I can get at $34-$38 such as Cano (last yr $39) , Votto $35, Kemp $37. I also do not typically grab the highest price players and I have faired very well over the past 11 years in this league.
Just some food for thought. Also, is there any top tier guys that any of you like more than others this yr? BTW, Trout is a $4 keeper this yr and not available.
With only 3 keepers, i want no risk, no matter the price. I don't like Dickey in a hr park, facing a dh, in the AL East. Give me the 3 sure things. No way i chance letting AM go.

I agree. I would Keep RA Dickey for 4, but not at the price of Mccutchen. Someone might go to $45 on him in your auction since he will likely be one of the best players available in a 14 team auction and Dickey I do not see going for more than $15 in the worst case.
